Dream Team

By Laura Butcher

Freda – Thank you for making the studio and my business possible. Doing your training at The House of Yoga even if it meant staying with my family over six months! Taking on half the schedule when you got qualified, injecting so much FUN into our classes. Having such an inspiring practice! Being a true and honest friend.

Tracy – For being a unicorn. The creativity and spirituality you bring to class can only be described as magic. You are rare and beautiful inside and out, a unicorn fits so perfectly, sometimes you even have the rainbow colors in your hair, that’s when I knew your mortal mask was fading! Thank you for teaching nearly every class in the studio when Freda and I have to go away. For providing the MOST delicious treats after yin! For connecting me with my spiritual self and teaching me to believe in the universe, always.

Charlotte – For looking after our members when I can’t. For being my support both for the business and as my friend. For organising our incredible retreat! For having my sense of humour and making me laugh out loud every Wednesday. For coming into my life when I needed you most.

Melissa – For your wisdom, advice and endless warmth. You are the one everyone wants to be next to in class for the positivity and love that you radiate. You have a way of making people fall in love with you instantly, and it worked on me. For your golden pot analogy which will stay with me forever.

Simon – For being both my cheerleader and my sense. In my darkest days, your encouragement and never-ending belief has carried me through to where we are today and I cannot wait to see where this adventure takes us. Gratitude always.

Ronnie – For your charm! For your beautiful readings. For the care in your classes. For your open mind. And my goodness, for etiquette! For doing whatever it is that makes every member tell me they love you.

Danielle – For your fierce Ashtanga, for your knowledge, dedication to your practice and bringing real tradition to the studio!

Gem – for your charisma and glamour and for helping support us in the early days!

To all the lovely teachers who have covered and taught workshops and been a part of our family along the way.

I can’t express my gratitude enough and I will look after you all as much as humanly possible.

We have a big journey ahead!
